Description

Duffield House is an early 19th-century house located on The Street, Knodishall. It is constructed of painted brick with a slated roof. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window front. It features sash windows with glazing bars, each with a flat arch and keystone. The central doorway has pilasters and a broken pediment, leading to a two-panel door with an elliptical fanlight containing radiating and circular glazing bars. The end gables have oversailing courses at eaves level, and small hexagonal brick stacks are situated at each gable end.
