Description

Friston House is a home built in the early 19th century, with later additions at the rear. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a slate roof. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range with sash windows that include glazing bars and flat brick arches. The central doorway is flanked by engaged Tuscan columns and has an entablature above it. The door itself has eight panels and is topped with a rectangular fanlight that includes ornamental iron glazing bars. The house has overhanging eaves and a shallow pitched hipped roof, with a curved bay on the right-hand return front.
