Description
The Hare and Hounds Public House is a 17th-century building located in Framlingham on Double Street. It has two storeys and a basic three-cell layout. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a plain tiled roof. There is one internal chimney stack and one end chimney stack, both featuring plain red brick shafts. The ground storey includes one mid-19th century sash window and two 20th century small-paned casement windows. The upper storey has old two-light and three-light casement windows, each with a single bar to the lights. There are also two 19th century half-glazed doors. At the rear, there are single-storey lean-tos and a small wing, which are rendered and pantiled. No notable features are visible inside the building.
