Description
Peasenhall Post Office Stores and the adjoining house are two buildings that date from the 16th to 17th centuries. They feature a timber frame with a 19th-century colorwashed brick facade, while the rest is plastered. The buildings have a pantiled roof and are two storeys high. There are four 19th-century casement windows, one of which has square leaded panes. To the right side, there is a large mid-20th-century shop front, and to the left side is a 19th-century slightly canted bay window from a former shop, along with a 19th-century four-panel door. The buildings have one internal stack, while a second internal stack was removed around 1970. The interior of the Post Office Stores has been completely modernized and is not considered of special interest.
