Description
The Coach House and Barn at Cockfield Hall is an early to mid-19th century building designed in the Neo Tudor style. Constructed from red brick and covered with plain tiles, it forms a long and impressive range measuring 36 meters. The symmetrical south facade faces Cockfield Hall and features square buttresses at the corners topped with moulded brick pinnacles. The building has crowstepped gables, each with an apex pinnacle. There are two cart entrances that are set forward, showcasing crowstepping similar to the main gables and adorned with three-centre moulded brick arches. The moulding continues along the facade, which also includes boarded doors. Above each gable, there is a circular slatted opening with a semi-circular hoodmould. The areas between the cart entrances are further divided by brick pilasters, and the building is finished with a moulded brick eaves band and a crenellated parapet.
