Description
Nos 68 and 70 on the South Side of Thoroughfare were built in 1852. They are two-storey buildings with an attic, featuring a casement window in the gable and a dormer, both of which are now covered up. The structures are timber framed and plastered, with tiled roofs and slated eaves that were added when the front was raised in the 18th century. There are four sash windows with glazing bars and flush frames. The buildings have modern shop fronts with wooden cases. Nos 40 to 44 (even), 52 to 84 (even), and 90 to 94 (even) form a group with these buildings.
