Description

Clay Cottage, Ingleside, and the adjoining cottage were originally one house but are now three separate cottages. They date from the late 16th century to early 17th century and were re-roofed at a later date. The buildings are timber framed and plastered, with a painted brick casing on the right-hand gable and a pantiled roof. They are two storeys high and feature a four-window range with modern casements. There are three doorways, each with a boarded door. The structure includes one internal stack and one external stack on the left-hand side.
