Description

Orford Castle is a Grade I listed castle keep built between 1165 and 1167 for Henry II. It features a plinth made of septaria and Caen stone, with quoins, battlements, and dressings around the openings. The keep has a circular interior and a polygonal exterior, which includes three square projecting turrets. For a detailed description, refer to the official guidebook "Orford Castle" by R.
