Description
The ancient walls to the north and east of Toppesfield Hall date from the 16th to 17th century and later. The northern wall is constructed of red brick and features buttresses and piers. The eastern wall is also made of red brick and has a lozenge pattern at its base in dark red brick. Together, Toppesfield Hall and these ancient walls form a cohesive group.
