Description

The Corn Exchange, built in 1813 and restored in 1895, is a rectangular building made of Suffolk brick. It has a slate roof on the south and west sides, while the north and east sides are covered with glass, topped by a rectangular glass dome. The east and west sides are divided into six panels, each featuring a blocked arched recess. The only feature remaining from the original building is the tetrastyle Doric portico on the south side.
