Description

St Mary's Cottage is a 17th and 18th century timber-framed and plastered house located on the west side of School Street in Stoke-by-Nayland. The building has one storey and attics, featuring a two-window range with casement windows that include glazing bars. A central doorway is topped by a tiled gabled hood supported by brackets. The roof is tiled and includes a restored or rebuilt 17th century chimney stack with four grouped diagonal shafts. An addition is present at the south end of the cottage.
