Drift Cottage is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered cottage located on the west side of School Street in Stoke-by-Nayland. The building has one storey and attics, featuring a two-window range with 20th-century casement windows. The roof is slate and includes two flat-roofed dormers with leaded casements. A tall central square chimney stack is a prominent feature of the cottage.
