Description

This is a range of early to mid-19th century brick houses located on Newlands Lane in Nayland with Wissington. The houses were built using a rat trap bond technique, where the bricks are laid on their edges, and are colourwashed. They are two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Each house has a four-panel door, and two of the houses have flat hoods supported on brackets above their entrances. The roofs are slate covered. A single-storey lean-to addition extends from the south-east end of the range.
