Description

This is probably a 15th or 16th century timber-framed and plastered building that has been significantly altered in the 18th century, particularly to its front facade. Number 92 was likely originally the south cross wing. The roofs are tiled. Numbers 90 and 91 form a separate block, with hipped roofs to the north and south, a wood modillion eaves cornice, and rusticated quoins. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has two 19th-century shop fronts, one of which features glazing bars. Number 92, which is now Barclays Bank, has a hipped roof and a single window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars.
