Description

Eldon Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered house, probably with an earlier frame, and retaining 19th-century external features. It is two storeys high, with a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars, set in shallow reveals. The outer windows are three-light, and the central window has glazing bars in small panes. The ground floor has two 19th-century canted bays, and a central four-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight. The roof is tiled.
