Description
Potash Farmhouse is a farmhouse consisting of two main sections, built in the 17th century and 19th century, with later alterations and a small addition from the 20th century. The building features a timber frame with brick additions and is rendered. The earlier section has a pantile roof, while the later section also has pantiles.
The single-storey and attic lobby-entry range has a later two-storey range to the left. The single-storey and attic range includes an off-centre 20th-century door, two casement windows, and one fixed light window. To the far left, there is a further six-panel door within a 20th-century porch. The range has flat dormers with casements and a swept roof.
The two-storey range features a segment-arched 16-pane sash window and a tiny fixed light window to the right, with another 16-pane sash window and a small 20th-century fixed light above. There is a gable end stack and a low 20th-century addition to the left. Inside, there is no exposed framing, but there is a chamfered spine beam with an ogee stop.
