Description
Little Dodnash Farmhouse is a cottage that dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with possible earlier origins. It is primarily constructed from timber framing and plaster, with some areas of painted brick. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and features a hipped design with a gablet on the left range. The building has a T-shaped plan, with an 18th-century crosswing on the left that includes a front external chimney stack and an off-centre left stack on the original right range. The farmhouse is one storey high with attics and has two gabled dormers on the left return. The front facing the road has one-over-one vari-light casement windows. There is a reproduction nailed board door located to the left of the right range. Inside the right range, there are flat section rafter feet and heavy bridging joists.
