Description

Tye House is an 18th-century house with a painted brick facade, overlying a timber-framed and plastered structure. It has a modern wing to the rear. The building is two stories high and features a modillion eaves cornice. The front has five windows, each a flush-frame sash with glazing bars and a gauged flat arch. A six-panel door is set within a stucco surround with ornamental brackets. The roof is tiled. Photographic records are held by the National Monuments Record. Tye House is part of a group of buildings which includes numbers 61 to 107 (odd) on the High Street.
