Description
Taviton House, located at 103 High Street, is a two-storey building with features dating from the 18th century to the 19th century. It has a timber frame and is plastered, with a slate roof. The building features a modillion wood eaves cornice that extends over the adjoining house at No 105. There are three windows in a range, which are flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. The central doorcase is notable for its pediment and decorated frieze, leading to a six-panel door. Additionally, there is a small modillion cornice above two ground floor windows on the south-east side. The building also has cellars. Taviton House is part of a group that includes Nos 61 to 107 (odd).
