Description

No 106 on High Street is a two-storey building that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with tiled roofs and a central stack. It likely dates from the 17th century but was refronted in red brick during the 18th century. The façade includes three flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. The upper central window is a three-light design with a pointed head and interlacing glazing bars in the upper sash. The ground floor windows have flat arches, and there is a central entrance accessed by steps, which features a simple wooden open pediment, an arched fanlight, and a six-panel door. At the back, there is a wing that extends east. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 96 to 130 on the same side of the street.
