Description

Ashwood is a building that likely dates from the 17th century. It is two stories high, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, and has a tiled roof. The upper storey projects at the front, and there is a wooden cornice along the eaves. The building features two windows: one is a casement, and the other is a three-light sash window with glazing bars. There is a four-panel door, set within a wooden case, that leads up steps to the entrance. Ashwood is part of a group with the buildings numbered 96 to 130 on the same side of the street.
