Description
This outbuilding, likely a former dairy, bakehouse, or brewhouse, dates from the 17th or 18th century. It features a timber frame with early 19th century red brick facing and some plaster on the front gable. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and has a half-hipped design on the road-facing and rear gables. The building is two storeys high. On the gable end, there is a louvred three-light opening, while the ground floor has a workshop window with five lights and a door to the right. The left side has a louvred six-light window and a vertically boarded door. Inside, you can see chamfered bridging joists and wall studs, as well as a copper and a fireplace. This building is included for its group value with Wenham Lodge.
