Description

No. 21 Shilling Street is a 16th-century building that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a tiled roof. It has a central ridge chimney stack that is adorned with four grouped octagonal shafts, each with moulded caps and bases. The building has been restored and showcases ornamental panel pargetting on its front. It stands two storeys high and includes various types of windows, such as four-light mullioned windows located under the eaves, a leaded casement window, and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a large modern mullioned window designed in an old style.
