Description

Wellington House is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th century, featuring a tiled roof and a prominent square central chimney stack. It stands two storeys high, with the upper storey jettied across the entire front, displaying exposed joists. The building has a two-window range of modern casements with leaded lights and has been renovated. Historically, it is said to have been an inn known as "The Conquering Hero."
