Description

19, Shilling Street is a house dating from the 15th to 16th centuries, originally constructed as a timber-framed hall house with plaster panels. The front of the building features decorative pargeting, and it is covered by a tiled roof. The house was restored at a later date and includes a large six-light mullioned and transomed window, as well as a range of leaded casement windows to the north. Inside, the house retains a crown post roof.
