Description

This is a 15th-16th century timber-framed and plastered barn, located on Lavenham Barn Street. The west front displays exposed timber framing, while the south wall is faced with flint up to the gable. The roof is tiled. The building was restored in 1936. It is two storeys high. The windows are mullioned casements with lattice leaded lights. On the upper floor, there are two blocked original five-light windows featuring oak diamond mullions. The doorway is a modern restoration, accessed by steps from the pavement. The interior contains a crown post roof.
