Description

Church Cottage is a house that dates from the 16th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior, topped with red plain tiled roofs. There is a chimney stack located on the right side of the building. The house has two storeys, with the left side of the roof hipped at both the front and rear. The right side features a gabled section that jetties out at both the ground and first floors. The front of the house has a three-window range, consisting of 20th-century two- or three-light leaded casements. On the right side, there is one similar casement on the first floor and two on the ground floor, along with a centrally placed vertically boarded door. The building also has rear wings.
