Description

The Old Post Cottage is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on Polstead Water Lane. It features a tiled roof with a ridge chimney stack that has two diagonal shafts on a tall square base. The cottage has some painted brick facing and stands two storeys high with attics. On the north-west front, there is a trio of windows, while the south-west end has one window range. The windows include a mix of small casements and double-hung sashes with glazing bars.
