Description

Waterloo House is a group of mainly 17th and 18th century timber-framed and brick buildings located on the south-east side of The Hill in Polstead. This group includes a cottage, a modern shop front, and an outbuilding. The central gabled section is faced in modern brick, and during renovations, a coin dated 1642 was discovered embedded in the plaster. The roofs are tiled. Although the buildings have been significantly altered, they are included for their group value.
