31 Prentice Street is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered building that stands at right angles to the road, featuring a gable end facing Prentice Street. The building has been renovated, revealing the timber-framing on the east front. The north gable end includes one range of 18th-century double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the east front has modern casement windows. The roof is tiled and has a central ridge chimney stack.
