Description

Nos 149 and 151 Angel Street are 17th to 18th century buildings that are two storeys high, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, and have tiled roofs. The upper storey projects at the south front and over a large carriage entrance located at the west end. This entrance features exposed timbers supported by curved brackets. The buildings have a range of four flush frame sash windows, which include glazing bars. There is a projecting end chimney with a tapering shaft. Historically, there was a malthouse at the rear of the property. A date panel on the upper storey front indicates the year 1713.
