Description
This is a hall-house dating back to the 16th century, with cross wings extending to the east and west. The house is timber-framed and plastered, with tiled roofs. The west wing features a prominent external chimney with two octagonal shafts and moulded bases. A further wing, likely also from the 16th century, extends northwards and has a large rectangular stack. Timber framing is visible on the east wall. The west wing’s upper storey projects on the south front. Nos. 95 to 101 (odd) form a group and demonstrate group value. Photographs relating to the building are held by the National Monuments Record.
