Description
Number 72 Angel Street is a building of probable early 19th-century origin, with alterations suggesting an earlier core from the early 18th century. It is a two-storey, one-window building on the right-hand side, with slate roofing. The left-hand portion is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring one window and an old tile roof of steep pitch. A flush frame door is present. The building is listed for group value alongside numbers 66 and 70 Angel Street, numbers 76 to 90 Angel Street, and the Eight Bells Inn. A photograph of the building is held within the National Monuments Record.
