Description

Mathouse, located at 98 and 100 Angel Street, is a 16th century building that has undergone later alterations. It is two storeys high, constructed with timber framing and plaster, and features tiled roofs with cross wings on the east and west sides. The upper storey of the east cross wing projects on three curved brackets, and the timber framing and window opening are exposed on the ground floor. The building primarily has 19th century casement windows and a five-panel door. At the time of the survey, it was unoccupied and in need of repair. Mathouse is part of a group that includes Nos 94 to 100 (even).
