Description

No. 109 George Street is an early to mid-19th century building that stands two stories tall and features three recessed sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is slate, and the eaves are adorned with fretwork. The building is constructed of painted brick, with flank pilasters and a central projection. It has an enriched wooden doorcase supported by fluted pilasters, leading to a four-panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight. There is also one splay bay with a pent roof. At each end, red brick chimneys rise with twin diagonally-set shafts.
