Westgate Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 17th to 18th centuries. It is a one-story building with attics, featuring a three-window front with casement windows. The roof is pantiled, with an end chimney stack located at the west end and one internal stack. A gabled dormer window is also present.
