Description

Stow’s Hill Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, originally constructed as a hall house. During the 16th and 17th centuries, a floor was inserted into the building. The windows are largely from the 18th century and are double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is thatched, hipped, and features two gabled dormers, along with a ridge chimney stack with attached shafts. A cambered tie beam with a crown post is present.
