Description
Earl's Hall is a timber-framed manor house located in Cockfield, likely dating from the 17th century. The building has undergone significant alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries, including a painted brick facing on the front. It is designed in an L-shaped plan with wings extending to the north and west, and features a modern addition on the east end. The house has two storeys and a four-window range consisting of double-hung sashes and casements. On the ground floor, there are two bays, one of which has French casements. The roof is tiled and includes an external chimney stack at the west end.
