Description

Hill Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on Semer Road. It features a cross wing at the north end, which was significantly altered in the 19th century when it was faced in gault brick. The building has a hipped roof tiled at the south end and stands two storeys high. The upper storey of the main block jetties out at the front, supported by exposed joists. The main block includes a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, and the ground storey windows have boarded shutters. The cross wing is fitted with modern casements.
