Description
The Old Rectory is a timber-framed and plastered building, likely originating from the 17th century, though it has undergone significant alterations in the 18th century. The front features two gables and a gabled wing, with a tiled roof. The structure has two storeys and attics, with a five-window range primarily consisting of double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The windows beneath the gables are splayed bays on the ground floor, while the upper storey has three-light windows with narrow side lights, along with diocletian windows in the gables. A ridge chimney stack is present, featuring four grouped octagonal shafts on a square base, topped with modern chimney pots, and there is also an older chimney stack at the west end.
