Description

Derwins Cottage and the adjoining house to the west is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on the south side of The Green in Hartest. It features one storey and attics. The main block has double-hung sash windows with three lights and a corrugated iron roof over thatch. The cottage, built at the east end and extending to the north, has 20th-century metal casement windows and a thatched roof with a tall square chimney stack. The main block also includes one gabled dormer.
