Description
The Bull Inn is a public house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It features a timber-framed structure that is rough rendered, topped with red plain tiled roofs. The building is two storeys high with attics and has an off-centre gabled crosswing to the left, which showcases an exposed timber frame on the first floor and attic, supported by brackets.
The windows are arranged in a 1:2 range of vari-light casements. The attic of the crosswing has a three-light window with mullions, while the first floor has a three-light window with mullions and a transom, flanked by two three-light sidelights, some of which are original or restored. There is a 20th-century five-light bay window on the ground floor and a square-headed porch to the right of the crosswing. To the left of the crosswing, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension that includes a four-light casement. The inn is said to contain an original crossboarded, nine-panel iron-studded door.
