Description

This is a range of three timber-framed and plastered cottages located on the north side of Ellis Street, Boxford. They likely originated in the 17th century, but were significantly altered in the 18th century and later. The cottages have two storeys and a six-window front, with casement windows throughout. Number 22 features a small 19th-century square bay window. The roofs are tiled, with a gabled dormer window on number 26 and a central chimney stack on the south-east portion.
