Description

The Cardinal's Hat Inn is a 16th-century building with later alterations, featuring rendered timber-framing. It has a steeply pitched roof covered in black glazed pantiles with gabled ends. The inn is two storeys tall and has four windows, which are 18th-century sashes with glazing bars, although the ground floor has been restored. To the left, there is a 19th-century pilastered doorcase with an entablature and cornice, leading to a modern glazed door. At the rear, there are two gables and an 18th-century painted brick wing.
