Description

No. 18 The Thoroughfare is a building located in Harleston, featuring a timber-framed wing at the rear, which likely dates back to the 17th century. This wing is stuccoed and has a steeply pitched pantile roof, and the building stands two storeys high. The front of the building, constructed in the late 19th century, is made of red brick and is considered to have little architectural interest. It includes a parapet with a moulded brick dentilled cornice, has two storeys, and features three windows. The ground floor has a Victorian shop front with pilasters and an entablature topped with a moulded cornice.
