Description
No 2 Redenhall Road is a building from the 18th century, possibly with earlier origins. It features a roughcast exterior and a black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys and originally had two windows, although these have been replaced with modern top-opening-light windows. The central doorcase is adorned with pilasters and an entablature that includes a fluted frieze, a moulded architrave, and a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, along with a flush panelled door. At the rear is a wing, known as No 1 Wilson's Square, which is constructed of painted brick from the 18th century and has a pantile roof with a gabled end. This wing also has two storeys and features sash windows with glazing bars, a casement, and a moulded doorcase with a cornice.
