Description
Low Farmhouse is a 17th to 18th century house located on Diss Road in Tibenham. The building features a timber frame that is faced in late 19th century red brick, with buff brick quoins. It has a steep gable-ended roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The north end of the house has two lower storeys and an attic with one dormer window, while the south end has two storeys with two widely spaced windows and a higher roof. A large brick chimney stack is situated at the junction of the two sections. The house includes 19th century casement windows and a round-headed doorway, as well as a lean-to on the north end. The interior is said to have chamfered ceiling beams.
