Description

Primrose Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame house that has been encased in red brick during the late 19th century. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and has a rebuilt brick chimney stack that is off centre with octagonal flues. The house includes a moulded brick eaves cornice with dentils and is one storey with an attic. There is a range of three windows, which are 19th-century casements, along with three gabled dormers. A gabled brick porch is located in front of the chimney stack. Inside, the farmhouse has stopped chamfered ceiling beams and joists, as well as exposed timber-framing.
