Description
Old Hall is probably an early 18th-century timber-frame house that has been plastered. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends, which have 19th-century shaped barge boards. The house has a central brick chimney stack and is two storeys high with an attic, including attic windows in the gable ends. The structure is three bays wide, with casement and sash windows that have glazing bars. A central 19th-century porch with stepped gables and a small niche with an ogee head adds to its character. There is a wing projecting on the right (southeast) that is also a plastered timber-frame with a steep gable-ended pantile roof. Additionally, there is a 19th-century wing on the east end, which is plastered as well.
