Description
Church Farm Cottages is an early 17th-century farmhouse that has been subdivided and altered, with a later restoration. The walls are cement-rendered over a timber frame and brick, with plain tiles replacing the original thatched roof. The roof is steeply pitched, and a lower wing to the south has pantiles. The building is two storeys high with attics. The elevations have been reworked, featuring 20th-century 2 and 3-light casement windows and entrance doors. A large, red brick axial stack, partially rendered, is situated off-centre and forms an L-shape. A 1½-storey wing to the south features an internal chimney stack on the south gable.
